CALL FOR PAPERS

68TH ANNUAL MEETING OF THE

SOUTHWESTERN PHILOSOPHICAL SOCIETY

November 10-12, 2006

Holiday Inn Select Vanderbilt
Nashville, Tennessee


Papers on any theme or problem in philosophy are welcome.  Presented papers
are published in the winter issue of the Society's journal, Southwest
Philosophy Review.
 
The Society gives an annual award of $100 to the best paper accepted for the
program written by a graduate student or recent Ph.D. (degree granted within
three years of the meeting).  Authors who are eligible for the prize should
indicate this on the cover page of their submissions.

Papers may not exceed 3000 words in length; submissions should include a
word count on the title page.  Papers exceeding this length will not be
considered.

Papers should not contain any information identifying their authors.
Author's name, affiliation, email address and phone number should be on a
separate page.  If submitting electronically, any identifying information
must be on a separate file.  Please include an abstract of the paper (150
words maximum) on a separate sheet.

Deadline: Papers must be received by JULY 1, 2006.

Electronic submissions sent to swpssubmissions@gmail.com are strongly
preferred.  They MUST be in Word, or RTF format; papers submitted in any
other formats cannot be processed.  If submitting in hard copy, please
submit 3 copies of the paper and if possible a copy on disk (IBM
compatible).
