Jacques Maritain Center
Jacques Maritain is a paradigmatic Catholic philosopher, providing a model of the way in which religious belief and various cultural, intellectual and political concerns can be interwoven. Maritain responded with enthusiasm to the Church's recommendation of St. Thomas Aquinas to the faithful as their master in theology and philosophy. His writings exhibit how his mind was permeated by the thought of the Angelic Doctor.

The Center exists to contribute to the continuing influence of the spirit of Jacques Maritain at Notre Dame.

The Japan Popper Society
The Japan Popper Society, founded in 1989 by Prof. Jun-ichi Aomi, an old friend of Sir Karl, and other scholars, consists now of about 100 members (not only of professional scholars but also of graduate students and people, who have interest in Popper's Idea.)
The Japan Popper Society is by no means an academic society in the strict sense, much lesser a "Popper fun club". There are in the JPS many members, who are skeptical or critical against the Popperian philosophy.

The Interest in the Ideas of Popper. This is the only one organization principle of us. In the critical spirit of Popper, we hope to exchange our opinions freely and to criticize each other, in order to learn; learn, how to solve our problems better. We refuse relying upon any kind of authority, whether of "ivory tower" or of "elders and betters". So we wish to build an open society and a better world in the sense of Popper.

The Jefferson Legacy Foundation
The mission of The Jefferson Legacy Foundation is to encourage people to learn about and from Thomas Jefferson, his time and philosophy, so that they might be inspired to participate in public affairs in ways reflective of the spirit of Jefferson's life, thought, and ideals.

The Jefferson School
The Jefferson School has been created to advance and disseminate the philosophical and scientific knowledge that is necessary to the existence of a free society. Accordingly, the School's primary mission is the further development, application, and teaching of the ideas of the pro-reason, pro-individualist philosophers and the pro-freedom, pro-capitalist economists, and of compatible ideas in the field of psychology. All of its activities and programs feature the relevant doctrines of Objectivist and Aristotelian philosophy and of “Austrian” and Classical economics.

John J. Reilly Center for Science, Technology, and Values
The University's John J. Reilly Center for Science, Technology, and Values was created in 1985, and is named for the father of an alumnus whose gift of an initial endowment for the Center made its creation possible. The Center's undergraduate Concentration Progam was launched in 1986 with the aid of a three-year initial grant from the National Endowment for the Humanities.

The Center is committed to advancing research on science and technology as human, knowledge-producing institutions. It seeks to study the variety of ways these institutions impact upon society at large. The Center's mission is to create critical inquiry into the many dimensions of issues entailed by our rapidly advancing technology sciences.

The Lonergan Research Institute

The Lonergan Research Institute of Regis College, Toronto, Ontario, Canada, has a simple aim: to carry on the work of philosopher-theologian-educator Bernard J.F. Lonergan--a work of immense importance for the churches and human society at a time when both are in urgent need of creative leadership. An old tradition says: where there is no understanding, the people perish. Lonergan's contribution to human living is par excellence one of understanding.

The Los Angeles Lonergan Center
The Los Angeles Lonergan Center makes available in a single location a range of research materials for use by visiting scholars. The Center's collection was established by Timothy P. Fallon SJ and maintained by him for many years at Santa Clara University. After Tim Fallon's death the Center collection was transferred to Loyola Marymount University and is currently maintained by Mark D. Morelli.
