Theoretical Linguistics publishes studies, both of natural and constructed languages, employing formal methods. Linguistic methodology is included as well as the theory of meaning, syntax, phonology, phonetics and graphics, and pragmatics of language use. Theoretical linguistics being, historically, the outcome of independent developments in linguistics, logic, and the philosophy of language, contributions from all these fields are to be found in this journal.
If you know of a philosophy journal that isn't listed in the index, you can send us the information in an email message. We would appreciate it.
