| We would want to present the Philosophical Review KRISIS, published since 1995. It is the second in chronologically order on this topic in Romania. After 1989 a large part of the Romanian society is longing for a wind of change and free debates. Philosophy does not make apparently any exception in this sense. This was basically the idea of Krisis, a new agora for free philosophical discussions. We created a Philosophical Society for Dialogue and Reflection focused on dialogue among the people working in the field of philosophy, history of philosophy, logic, etc. The present review constitutes its main project. We don’t want to impose any styles of doing philosophy, as we respect all of them, but we are perfectly aware about the standards of the philosophical expertise. We prefer the dialogue between philosophers and between styles of philosophizing. We accept the differences between styles in philosophy, as we want to encourage the debate of different problems, approaching them from different points of view. |
| Krisis review has a regular series in Romanian, all numbers being thematically defined. The topic of the next number is announced in the prior one and in our Web Page (see below) which also hosts some numbers in electronic format. Krisis is issued twice or three times a year. All the papers are translated or published in double version, if necessary. All the papers have an abstract in English, German, French or Italian. Krisis also has others sections that are not dedicated to the main topic: „Essays”, „Book Reviews”, „Paideia” (problems of philosophical education), „Translations” (for translation in Romanian are favored classical texts) and „Interviews” (it had already appeared interviews with H.G. Gadamer, A. Gomez-Müller and A. Plantinga). |
